Dot Grid
A field of dots — circles, squares, diamonds or triangles — still, orbiting or breathing
A field of dots drawn from nothing — circles, squares, diamonds or triangles, in an even grid or staggered hex rows, in one colour or a random mix of up to four. Then they move one by one: each dot circles its own place on its own path, or the dots swell and shrink in patches that roll across the grid. Turn the ground transparent and the dots float over whatever is beneath.

- 3D Model — A primitive or a ready-made model — as authored, or in glass, mirror or matcap
- Background — Solid colour or gradient backdrop — the gradient can drift, warp and repeat
- Image — Upload a picture or an SVG as a layer, or pick one of 72 built-in shapes; position, scale and rotate it
- Mesh Gradient — A few colours melting into one another as soft, drifting patches — the silky mesh-gradient look
- Shape — A flat rectangle, circle, or polygon with adjustable design params
- Text — Editable text with Google fonts; replicate, move and rotate
- Video — Play a muted, looping video clip as a layer; position, scale and rotate it
